EQual Perspectives #20 (EQ2 Guild)

August 23rd, 2010

Welcome to EQual Perspectives, Episode 20. This show was recorded on April 16th of 2010 and is the 20th episode in the venerable podcast devoted to Everquest II. The show’s host Troy & Karen talk about Everquest; including talking about the ongoing squabble with Celestian, playing of Shadow Knights, old content can be just as fun as the the new zones, changes to the AA line, guild raiding, and the big shocker that Karen tells the audience: Brenlo is no longer with Sony. Sit back and listen to the show.

EQual Perspectives #12
In this week’s episode of EQual Perspectives, Troy, Karen and Bill have several shout-outs to friends and guildies. They then talk about the crazy and wildly funny website Zero Punctuation, and end the segment imploring people to write Bill, with fan or hate mail. Troy then relates his many stories of GDC with snippets about Age of Conan, Requiem Bloodmare, and the Chronicles of Spellborne — also, Troy tells of his fortune of having dinner with Scott Hartsman and Alan Crosby. Karen, Troy and Bill then talk of the announcement of Vivox joining forces with Sony to implement VOIP through their virtual worlds. The show wraps up with a thinly veiled discussion of, if the crew were mad MMO scientists what new additions would they bring to life — which really translates into what they want in the next Everquest II expansion!
