December 30th, 2008
Troy and Karen return for the one-year anniversary of EQual Perspective and excitedly talk about the summer events of Everquest II. Rounding out the show is a discussion on dual boxing, a shout-out to Cauolin and Dave at EQ-IQ, the gigglegibber goblin, Sony Fan Faire, and the summer blockbuster game update 47. The duo talk about the storms and the horrific mobs that emanate from the black cloud and the treasure that it may hold. they also talk about experience bonus weekend. The two end the show by talking about what their characters have been up to. Troy promised to post all his characters and their levels: Troy’s Characters as of August 17, 2008Shalimar 76th Warlock 63rd Sage GnomeWiser 68th Mystic 67th Alchemist GnomeTuffenuff 34th Necromancer
EQual Perspectives #12
In this week’s episode of EQual Perspectives, Troy, Karen and Bill have several shout-outs to friends and guildies. They then talk about the crazy and wildly funny website Zero Punctuation, and end the segment imploring people to write Bill, with fan or hate mail. Troy then relates his many stories of GDC with snippets about Age of Conan, Requiem Bloodmare, and the Chronicles of Spellborne — also, Troy tells of his fortune of having dinner with Scott Hartsman and Alan Crosby. Karen, Troy and Bill then talk of the announcement of Vivox joining forces with Sony to implement VOIP through their virtual worlds. The show wraps up with a thinly veiled discussion of, if the crew were mad MMO scientists what new additions would they bring to life — which really translates into what they want in the next Everquest II expansion!

EQual Perspectives #9
Troy and Karen return for episode number 9 of EQual Perspectives. After a mysterious introduction, the duo talk about their sponsor: www.mmotreasurehunt.com. Troy then thanks Beau Turkey for his great segments that he keeps sending in. The hosts then tackle a slew of email, with a special one from Grimwell! Troy and Karen often think of being mad MMO scientists, and what MMOstien would they create? Troy is happy to announce that there is a good base of listener to the show, and he looks forward to increasing the listeners of the show.
Karen and Troy then tackle two big subjects for the show: Contents & Group and Everquest 2 Epics. The two each have their own opinions on what can be done to increase grouping and what would be the best line of epic gear for the game.
Finally, Beau Turkey talks about his problem — too many alts!
Listen and enjoy.
