Part One of the Two Part Special show on Everquest
After a bit of an absence, the guys are back with a two part, special episode talking about Everquest. In the first part, Joe and Troy talk about creating new characters for Everquest 2, finding it very difficult to settle on one class over another. What will they ultimately decide to play?
Part two of the show finds Eric and Troy giving a basic walk through of the first four tutorials in Legends of Norrath. They talk about their experience with the card game, sometimes finding fault with the concept and implementation of the game, but ending in a resounding confirmation that its a fun and challenging new aspect of the Everquest experience. Come along and listen to the guys as they rant and rave about their favorite MMO game!
EQual Perspectives #12
In this week’s episode of EQual Perspectives, Troy, Karen and Bill have several shout-outs to friends and guildies. They then talk about the crazy and wildly funny website Zero Punctuation, and end the segment imploring people to write Bill, with fan or hate mail. Troy then relates his many stories of GDC with snippets about Age of Conan, Requiem Bloodmare, and the Chronicles of Spellborne — also, Troy tells of his fortune of having dinner with Scott Hartsman and Alan Crosby. Karen, Troy and Bill then talk of the announcement of Vivox joining forces with Sony to implement VOIP through their virtual worlds. The show wraps up with a thinly veiled discussion of, if the crew were mad MMO scientists what new additions would they bring to life — which really translates into what they want in the next Everquest II expansion!
