Raise Crafting SKill Levels AND Make Good Cash! (Everquest 2 Item)

July 15th, 2008

For those of you that can make Maple lumber/scraps/turned lumber/quills…

What to do with all the Maple you've been harvesting from Antonica… sell it for 50c or less, or make a BUNDLE and raise your crafting level and skills? I've used the latter, and believe me, it works GREAT!

Needed:
Raw Maple
Stroma Wash
Sandpaper

Buy a stack of stroma wash (you may not see this on the wholesaler until you raise your wholesale standing a bit doing wholesale quests), and a stack of sandpaper. Make sure you have plenty of room in your inventory..

Craft Maple Lumber. With shaped, plain, and pristine, you'll get lumber AND maple scraps.
Now, buy another stack of stroma wash and sandpaper. Craft Turned Maple. With shaped success, you'll get 1 turned lumber. With plain, you'll get 2 turned lumber. With pristine, you'll get 3 turned lumber for each scrap!

Once your inventory is full, sell the turned lumber to the wholesaler for 1s each! You're making a tidy profit of almost three silver for each piece of maple, plus XP and levels. Yes, it's not a lot of XP, but it DOES add up pretty fast, AND you make very, very good money in the process.

Think about it… 100 maple = 2-3 gold profit.

The best thing about this is the fact that the market is SO flooded with maple, you can buy it as cheap as 10-25c each from the broker, and churn out the cash!

Happy adventuring!
