EQual Perspectives #12 (Eq2 crafting)
June 12th, 2008
In this week’s episode of EQual Perspectives, Troy, Karen and Bill have several shout-outs to friends and guildies. They then talk about the crazy and wildly funny website Zero Punctuation, and end the segment imploring people to write Bill, with fan or hate mail. Troy then relates his many stories of GDC with snippets about Age of Conan, Requiem Bloodmare, and the Chronicles of Spellborne — also, Troy tells of his fortune of having dinner with Scott Hartsman and Alan Crosby. Karen, Troy and Bill then talk of the announcement of Vivox joining forces with Sony to implement VOIP through their virtual worlds. The show wraps up with a thinly veiled discussion of, if the crew were mad MMO scientists what new additions would they bring to life — which really translates into what they want in the next Everquest II expansion!

Eric describes his quest for the Warp Portal Necklace and ends with tactics for solo, grouping, and raiding. Eric and Troy talk about the Hot Zones, for Everquest. Eric wraps things up with his rants of server patches and a way to detail flagging. Joe and Troy talk about Everquest II (starting at 1 hour and 7 minutes into the program) and continue their tales with Bullywug and Lillipad. Later, the two decide to re-roll their characters and make a pair of ratonga in the new starting city of Nariak.
